I am pretty much "the" photographer in the family.
It is not very often that I end up on the other side of the camera.
My husband, Mark, is trying to pick up the camera a little more and capture moments of me with the kids.
I love him for it.
Here is one of the shots he managed to catch recently.
It makes me smile every time I see it.

Susan, thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words for my sister.
I haven't called her yet, but I'm sure she has read your comment.
She needs all the support she can get right now. I just wish I could handle adopting him, but I'm not 100% sure I could do it. We already have an 11 year old child with extensive behavioral and emotional problems, a teenager and we've only been married for 2 months.
i am always behind the camera too. i guess it would be good to get in a few pics...just to prove i WAS around!
great pic, cute kiddos!
ha h a- my hubbie too is trying - but he waits for the perfect shot instead of just snapping away - so funny!!
Great picture! What is it with the dads and not getting pics of us moms?
That's an adorable picture of the three of you. I'm also just starting to show up in pictures but that's because my hubby got his dream camera a month ago and has since dubbed himself The Photographer.
aww, what a great shot! it's so important to have these pictures :)
It made me smile too. To be in any pictures, I have to practically beg. :)
How funny that someone noticed you weren't included and added you before you had the chance! :)
I love it! It is important to capture those mommy moments. I feel the same way sometimes; that I'm not in very many pictures. Kudos to Daddy.
Oh, thats a great pic of you guys! I wish my husband would do the same. There are almost no pictures of me around. Kudos to your husband!
That's gotta be the best shot - because it's adorable, AND because YOU are in it! I have two pics of me with both kids I think....one on mother's day and one....okay, maybe I just have one. Pathetic!
Way to go hubby!!
Yes, I need to get my hubby to do that more!
I'm always on the other side of the camera too! Only that's completely MY doing! lol My hubby gets mad at me!
Very nice shot of you and the kids!
Oh it's so important to be in lots of pictures! I love looking back at pictures of my parents "back in the day".
I am usually the photographer in my family too, but I just noticed last night how many pics of me there are on my blog lately. Today's is a little scary. I couldn't pass up posting it. But, I need to get back to sharing the sweet ones of my kiddos. Love this of you and yours!
Great shot!
Being the family photographer I have the same problem. I worry that the kids will look back and wonder where mom was on all the fun family trips.
Isn't it wonderful to see a pic of yourself with the kids? Great job, hubbie!
I scrolled down and read a few of your posts...I taught for nine years, but 9/11 was my first year out of the system...I had just changed careers and was in Philadelphia on that dreadful day for my new job training. I had just been to NYC the day before. I can't imagine how you handled that day with the kiddos....some obviously very concerned ones.
BTW...over from WW and thanks for visiting!
I completely understand your dilemma. It seems like mom is always the photographer! This is a great photo and it captures all of you so nicely!
Too cute!
Ahhhh..what a sweet picture! It is nice to be on the other side of the camera once in awhile huh?
I am always saying that the kids will not remember they even had a mom...I am never in any photos.
Great photo of you and the kids!!!
I am not in very many pictures at our house, I think by design but you look mahhvalous and your hubbie is a good photographer. Great post!
Hi Susan!
You're little ones are just adorable! I know wht you mean always being the one behind the lense, I'm hardly ever in the shots.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some bloggie love!
~Angie~
beautiful mommy!!!
Ohhh I love that idea of wordFul Wednesday
What a beautiful photo of you and your kids. It's SO important to have photos of you with them! Especially while you're young and hot (we need our kids to see how cute we once were!)
Beautiful pic!
That's a really good picture! Your husband did much better than mine when he tries to include me in some pics. Let's just say he deosn't have the touch, lol. I'll just have to stay the family photographer and settle for a few with me here and there.
Wow. He did a good job!
My husband ends up taking blurry photos whenever I can get him to take any. *sigh*
I know, I'm not on the other side very often either and I've been trying to get Hubby to get some shots of me with our son lately. My mom says I'm the "ghost" in the family because I take all the photos and am never on the other side of the lense.
