Passionate about Puddles

We had a somewhat warm day this week.

It was a whopping 47 degrees. Doesn't sound like much, but to us it felt like 65.

So, needless to say we spent some time outside enjoying the sunshine and "warm" weather.

And what does warm weather combined with previous snow create?

Puddles!!!

My boy hit everyone he saw and loved every minute of it.

He was soaked and dirty, but he couldn't have had a bigger smile on his face.

Today we are back to the snow and bitter cold and my sweet boy is battling yet another round of the stomach bug.

I am quite sure that when he closes his eyes to rest he is dreaming of all this snow melting and the giant puddles it will create.

Happy puddle jumping my love!

Boys sure do love puddles. My little guy just looks at me like I'm crazy when I ask him not to stomp in the puddles.

I love puddles! It was warm and sunny today and a whopping 4o-something here too and the kids ran around in the back yard. Gotta love kids and the fun they bring to every situation.

Puddles+boy=paradise

I don't get why it makes them so happy but it does so I allow it. Ususally under their dad's supervision but still.

I may be going on 60, but hey....those puddles would have MY name on them too!! Fabulous photo!!!

My Wordful is all about three ships that went sailing across the seas to discover America. And they're all here in our city. [replicas that is]

Come on over for a blog visit, I'd love to have your company today.

Boys will find the puddles no matter where they are!

I think jumping in puddles is one of the funnest things on the planet to do : ).

There is nothing better as puddles. With the opposite weather here, my rugrats love everydrop of water from top or button to mess with and the littlest of the bunch is in love with his rainboots, puddles or not.

47 degrees would feel like a heat wave considering the weather we've been having! My 3 year old LOVES puddles too, but hates when he gets mud on him from jumping in the puddles. Kids! LOL.

I think it is impossible for kids to just walk around a puddle!! My boys splash in EVERY puddle they see and will go out of their way to step IN the puddle! Gotta love though! That looks about like our yard this week....mush from melted ice!!

Ah, puddles! I remember stomping around in them when I was little and my son loved it, too. We should all stomp in more puddles, don't you think?

Great pic of your son!

That is funny how that is "warm" to you! It was 55 out today and I said it was WAY too cold to play outside to my 4 yo!

Bet he did have fun in those puddles!

Congratulations to your Steelers. We too had the terrible towel flying! Those stomach bugs have made their way around our part of the world as well! We have had pretty mild weather and not much in the way of rain or snow this season. We could use a few drops. And I think I am in the mood, I would jump in those puddles too!
