Healed

This afternoon my sweet, beautiful grandmother went home to be with her Savior.

I am deeply saddened, but know that she is enjoying every moment of her new home.

I am so grateful for the many years that I got to spend with her.

I have so many beautiful memories and so much I want to say about the legacy she has left, but today I am too emotionally drained to effectively communicate that well.

Thank you all SO much for all of your prayers. They were felt.

I am so sorry dear. She is probably walking hand in hand with Jesus right now. Take heart in that, my dear friend. :)

I'm so sorry for your loss. Think about how lucky you are though, that she got to meet both of your kids and you have the pictures to always remember the time they spent with her. My grandparents and my husband's grandfather never got to meet our kids.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful pictures. I love having a face to put with a story. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that it is not easy to let go of those we love so dearly. I hope you find comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord now, and rejoicing for the wonderful life she lived.

I will continue to pray for your family.

We feel your loss Susan. These are happy/sad times: happy that your grandmother is sharing in the joy of heaven; sad because you will miss her, especially at holiday times such as now. May your memories richly bless you and comfort you and remember that her love remains as she intercedes with the Lord on your behalf. Love never dies...Bob and Pat Geipel

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
Some losses can never be replaced, and the sadness can be very deep. But it's obvious you have faith in a loving God, and I hope that will be a comfort to you, and your family.
Know that there are many people out here thinking of you, and offering prayers on your behalf.

Susan,
My thoughts and prayers have been with you these past weeks.
They will continue.
I am so sorry for your loss, but I rejoice in the knowledge that you know where your Abuela is.
And that all her pain and suffering is no more.
What comfort that must give you.
Thanks for sharing such a tender experience.
((hugs))

Big hugs to you Susan.

My three year old just asked who you were and I told him you were my friend and that you were very sad because your grandma died. He said, "It's ok, Heavenly Father will take care of her."

So true, my dear.

Oh, Susan, I'm so so sorry. I didn't see this until today. What a heartbreaking thing to go through. I totally understand the pull between being happy for someone to finally be free of this life and living it up on the other side, and the sadness from missing them terribly. Your letter to your Grandmother was beautiful, and I hope healing for you.
