Chris Cuomo is my Baby's Daddy

**Family members: Please read on before having heart failure. This is not an announcement.**

Every once in awhile I have the luxury of catching a few minutes of Good Morning America, a morning show I truly enjoy watching. As a busy mommy I try to find time to connect with things that are going on in the world and GMA helps with that. Unfortunately, Austin has his own morning agenda and Curious George often wins out over GMA. However, EVERY time I tune in, and Austin is around, the following phrases fill the room from his excited little body.
"Mommy, mommy!!! Look it's Daddy. It's Daddy!!!"

(Austin waving) "Hi Daddy! Hi Daddy!"

"Whatchoo doing Daddy?"

(Chris Cuomo not listening or responding to Austin)

(long pauses of watching "Daddy" talking on TV...Austin wondering how "Daddy" got in there but not being able to articulate that)

"I see you Daddy! Hey....Daddy! Hey Daddy?"

(Chris Cuomo still not responding)

(Austin gives up and goes to play......or asks to watch Curious George)

I am not making this up! He truly believes that Mark is sometimes the host of GMA. Of course, Mark cannot observe this for himself because, well, that would be really confusing for a two year old.
For me, it is sweet entertainment and I love it.

Here is a comparison photo of Chris and Mark for your judgment. Can you see where Austin gets it?

Love it!
Imagine Chris Cuomo's surprise when he googles himself.
And finds this!
Hilarious!
I do see the favor.

I LOVE that!!! You need to record it so Mark CAN see it for himself.

Wouldn't you just love to jump into Austin's little mind and find out exactly what he's thinking?

I really do see a resemblance!

My daughter did this to a guy working in the back of a bike repair shop. I was so embarrassed, thinking everyone thought she didn't have a daddy and was picking random guys to fill the spot, lol.

That is too funny! I hope you do show your husband.

I can see how he thinks it! That is a cute story :)

Oh, that is sooo cute! I can not wait for Chase to start talking so I hear precious moments like that.
Thank you for adding us to your prayer list. I am truly honored!

OK, that is funny! I can see how Austin might make that mistake!

BTW, these funny (and possibly embarassing) mix-ups can occur because holistic face processing doesn't typically develop until 5 years of age.

Bottom line, Austin might be calling Chris Cuomo "daddy" for a few more years!

Too funny.

I remember sitting in the dentist office and my daughter pointed at a pic of Kobe Bryant and said "dat daddy?"

Yeah, 'cause he looks so very much like my husband. Not. :)

Kids are AWESOME!

I do see a slight resemblance.

One of my girls thought Daddy was on Toy Story 2. You can imagine my Hubby's distress at being compared to the man from the Chicken Suit. I think it was just that they both have a goatee. Still funny though.

Aren't kids silly? And I guess I can kind of see how he might get confused like that. Too cute.

Oh that was cute. You must record it.

When our middle son was about 2 he saw a picture of bald Bruce Willis and said, "Grandma." No, it wasn't Grandma. Luckily she had a great sense of humor her entire life, even during chemo. She told that story to everyone.

Have a Happy POW!

LOL...kids! When I was younger, I thought my dad played for the Dallas Cowboys--one of players had the same name as my Dad.
